Terms & customer information

Contract terms for purchases from G&C through Volta Motor.

General terms

1. Provider and scope

These terms apply to orders from Volta Motor at volta-motor.de. Your contracting party is G&C Handels GmbH & Co. KG, Josef-Bautz-Straße 26, 63457 Hanau, Germany; telephone +49 6181 3698350, email info@volta-motors.de. Offers are for consumers and businesses. Consumers act predominantly outside their commercial or independent professional activity. Businesses act in that activity. Conflicting business terms apply only with our express agreement; individual agreements prevail.

2. Products and conclusion of the contract

Products enabled for direct purchase are binding offers. Their features, equipment and available versions follow the product description. Select the item, version and quantity, add it to the cart and review or correct your selection. At checkout provide contact/address information and choose the offered delivery or collection and payment option. Guest checkout is available.

Review items, details and the total including delivery before the final order. Use cart and checkout editing controls to correct mistakes or cancel before submission. Pressing the final button clearly indicating an obligation to pay accepts our offer and concludes the purchase contract. Accelerated checkout or payment services may host individual steps; you can review details before the final paid order there too. An order confirmation follows by email.

Contact, advice and quotation requests are not binding orders. Individually quoted offers specify their own contract-conclusion process.

3. Prices and delivery charges

Consumer prices are total prices including statutory VAT where applicable. Additional delivery charges are shown before the binding order. Vehicle delivery within Germany, excluding German islands, is free. Other EU member states, Switzerland, Norway and the United Kingdom: €300 per vehicle, or €600 for two. Charges include VAT where applicable. German islands and other destinations are by enquiry; charges and time are agreed before the contract.

For non-EU delivery, the recipient pays import VAT, customs and clearance fees unless expressly included in checkout or the individual offer. Approved business customers may have expressly agreed dealer prices and transport terms; registration alone gives no entitlement.

4. Collection and discount

Collection in Hanau gives a €100 discount per vehicle from the displayed vehicle price (€200 for two), with no delivery charge. Address: G&C Handels GmbH & Co. KG, Josef-Bautz-Straße 26, 63457 Hanau, Germany. Handover requires our collection confirmation and a personal appointment. Travel only after confirmation. Expressly agreed dealer/collection terms take precedence for business customers.

5. Payment and ownership

Available payment methods and their terms are displayed at checkout before ordering. For agreed advance payment, delivery follows receipt of funds. Expressly agreed payment deadlines follow the offer or invoice. Goods remain our property until fully paid.

6. Delivery and risk

We deliver to the agreed address. Unless the item states otherwise, delivery is 1–5 working days in Germany excluding German islands, and 2–7 working days in other EU states, Switzerland, Norway and the United Kingdom. Working days are Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. With advance payment, the period starts the day after payment is received; otherwise the day after the contract.

We arrange handover with you. Tell us about access or location requirements promptly. Part deliveries require reasonableness or express agreement and do not add delivery charges without a separate agreement. Statutory rights for delays or other performance problems remain. For consumers we generally bear accidental loss/damage risk during transport until handover, subject to statutory exceptions, notably a carrier independently appointed by the consumer and not named by us. Statutory rules for shipment purchases apply to businesses.

7. Withdrawal

Consumers are granted a one-month withdrawal period for distance contracts. The separate withdrawal notice explains commencement, exercise, effects and the model form. This also applies to a binding online purchase collected in person. Consumers bear direct return costs as described in the notice. Estimated maximum vehicle-return costs are not flat take-back fees. Statutory defect claims remain unchanged. Businesses do not have the statutory consumer withdrawal right for business orders.

8. Defects and complaints

Statutory defect rights apply. An additional warranty exists only if expressly promised for the product; its declaration determines terms and cannot restrict statutory rights. Report complaints through our complaint form or the contact details above. Using the form is not a condition for your rights. Please state the order reference where possible and describe the defect. We bear costs necessary for statutory remedial performance.

9. Contract text, language and customer information

You can save or print order details and these terms before ordering. We store order data for fulfilment. Contract contents, applicable terms and the withdrawal notice with model form are provided by email on a durable medium within a reasonable period after conclusion, at the latest on delivery. Complete texts of previous contracts are not publicly retrievable; retain supplied records.

The contract language is German. Translations provide information; mandatory consumer rights remain. We are not subject to particular codes of conduct.

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

German law applies, excluding the UN Sales Convention. For consumers this choice cannot remove protection from mandatory law of their habitual-residence state. For merchants, legal entities under public law or public-law special funds, our business seat is the agreed jurisdiction where legally permissible. Statutory jurisdictions apply to consumers.

11. Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither required nor willing to participate in proceedings before a consumer arbitration body. Updated 2 October 2026.
