Withdrawal notice

Consumers have the following right for distance contracts. A consumer is a natural person acting predominantly outside their commercial or independent professional activity.

Right to withdraw

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within one month without giving a reason. The period is one month from the day you or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier, receives the goods. Where one order is delivered separately, the last item determines commencement; for goods in several lots or pieces, the last lot or piece.

To withdraw, inform G&C Handels GmbH & Co. KG, Josef-Bautz-Straße 26, 63457 Hanau, Germany; email info@volta-motors.de; telephone +49 6181 3698350, by an unambiguous statement, for example a posted letter or email. The model form below is optional. An online entry is available under Withdraw from contract. For an electronic declaration you receive confirmation of its contents and receipt date/time on a durable medium. Sending your declaration before the deadline is sufficient.

Effects of withdrawal

We refund all payments received, including delivery charges, except additional costs from a delivery method other than our least expensive standard option. Refund is without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed. We use the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise; no fees are charged for the refund.

We may withhold repayment until goods are returned or you provide evidence of sending them, whichever occurs first. Return or hand over goods to G&C Handels GmbH & Co. KG, Josef-Bautz-Straße 26, 63457 Hanau, Germany, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after informing us. Dispatch before that deadline is sufficient.

Return costs

You bear the direct cost of returning goods. For vehicles that cannot normally be returned by post, estimated maximum direct costs per vehicle are approximately €350 from Germany, €500 from the rest of Europe, and €1,000 from outside Europe. These are final amounts including VAT where applicable. They are estimated maxima, not flat take-back fees. Statutory defect rights remain unchanged; we bear transport costs necessary for statutory remedial performance.

Loss of value

You are liable for loss of value only where it results from handling unnecessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
